I haven't updated the blog for a while, mainly due to a series of annoying ailments that have kept me from the drawing board. Flu, back pain and viral vertigo included. So as I have no new art to show I thought I'd post this sketch I drew at the Dublin Comic Con this year. James here was requesting lego versions of comic characters from all the artists, you can see a gallery of the others here. Thanks to Stephen Mooney for the 'Lego City 1' gag.

Maybe I'm biased, but that's the best lego anything ever!
I'm forced to agree. One of my favourite Thompson drawings of all time(and contrary to popular opinion, there are at least like, 12). Soopoib.
Mee too man, this is just great
Heh, that's great! Really like how the loose, rough inking stops it from being really stiff, which would easily happen when drawing a piece of plastic.
Nice woik.
This is brill. And they're making a new Dredd movie so it's timely too.
an envious grasp on Lego anatomy there.Did you have a little lego fella in front of you?
Looks like my career has peaked with this sketch, it's all downhill from here. And to answer Luke's question -yeah, the guy who commissioned the piece brought a little Indiana Jones Lego man with him.
Oh man, now Lego really must create this toys!
